[Spring Boot] Environment construction (macOS)
I'm new to Eclipse, Java and Spring Boot. I managed to finish building the environment, but if there are any mistakes, please teach me.
Development environment
- macOS
- Eclipse 4.8 Photon
- Spring Tools 4
Download eclipse
❶ Access Official Site and select ʻEclipse 4.8 Photon`.
❷ Select Mac 64bit, Full Edition, Java
❸ Click the blue link to install
installation of sts
❶ After starting Eclipse, select Help> Eclipse Marketplace
❷ Enter " sts " in the search field
However, I didn't see Spring Tools 4 here, so if you're similar, see ❸ and beyond.
Close the window once.
❸ Select Help> Install New Software
❹ Enter the URL http://dist.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/update/e4.6 inWork target
❺ Check everything except Mylyn and selectNext>
This is where I'm not particularly confident. Only Core / Spring IDE seems to be good to check, but in my case I couldn't run Spring Boot application later.
❻ When asked for consent, check Agree and probably be asked to restart, so select Restart
that's all.
