1. 1. Searching for COVID19 in Splunkbase will hit. https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/4925/ Log in to download the app. Unzip the download file in/opt/splunk/etc/apps with Splunk installed. When you unzip it, you will find a covid-19 directory in it. Alternatively, press "+ Search for other apps" at the bottom of the list of apps in the left column of Splunk. Search for COVID and install the hit COVID-19 App on your browser.

Please note that this COVID-19App does not work by itself. Also include the "Canary" app and the "Sideview Utils" app. It's done as soon as you install the app from Splunk's admin screen or manually. It will start working when a total of 3 apps are set up and ready to run.

The default countries such as England and France are checked by default, but since it is a huge number, uncheck it. Select the number of deaths and city name from the pull-down menu. It's a little heavy when first opened. However, I notice annoyance from here. Osaka has half the number of infected people in Japan, and France has a terrifying number. Execute the following command in this directory.

This will send worldwide infection data to Splunk. However, due to the large amount of data, it is recommended to leave it alone overnight.
