[LINUX] CodeIgniter environment construction
Prerequisites
This is the procedure I wrote earlier to build a PHP 7.4 development environment on Ubuntu. I hope you can build an environment with reference to this.
PHP development environment construction
Install CodeIgniter
First, move to the project directory and launch ubuntu Next, ssh connection to the launched server
$ vagrant up
$ vagrant ssh
Go to your public directory and install CodeIgniter
#Move up one level in the public directory(The default public directory is/var/www/html)
$ cd /var/www
$ ls
html
#Install CodeIgniter
$ wget https://codeload.github.com/bcit-ci/CodeIgniter/zip/3.1.11
$ ls
3.1.11 html
#Install the unzip command to unzip the installed zip codeigniter
$ sudo apt install unzip
#Unzip CodeIgniter in zip format
$ unzip 3.1.11
$ ls
3.1.11 CodeIgniter-3.1.11 html
#change name(CodeIgniter-3.1.11 -> Codeigniter)
$ mv CodeIgniter-3.1.11 Codeigniter
#Delete zip files that are no longer needed
$ rm -rf 3.1.11
$ ls
Codeigniter html
CodeIgniter setup
#index.Move php to public document root
$ mv Codeigniter/index.php html/
Partially rewrite index.php that was moved above Change the path to Codeigniter's application directory and system directory as follows
- $application_folder = '../Codeigniter/application';
- $system_path = '../Codeigniter/system';
