Rip Music CDs on Arch Linux

I use a CD ripper called Asunder.

Installation method

$ sudo pacman -Syuu asunder

How to use

  1. Start ʻas under`.

    $ asunder
    
  2. Insert the music CD into your CD drive

  3. Wait a few seconds and the artist name and title will be recognized

  4. Press the Preferences button, select your favorite encoding (check MP3 if in doubt) and press OK

  5. Press the Rip button at the bottom right

After importing, you should have a directory with the album name in your home directory.
