If you set the theme to dark or something, the ruler (next to the scroll bar) will be hard to see because the default appearance in STS will hurt your eyes, so change the color. Especially the appearance part (the part that is referenced when the method is selected also changes color) is taken care of, but it is difficult to understand because the color is the same as TODO & breakpoint.
Settings-> General-> Editor-> Text Editor-> Annotations Then, there are the following items, so change it to your favorite color. The place of appearance is orange.
