It seems that Python3 is the default. Python 3 default flow in Linux distributions --orangain flavor

We couldn't find a specific date or timing for the migration, but due to the end of maintenance of Python 2 in 2020, Python 3 will be the default for the next major release Debian 9 (Stretch) or Debian 10 (Buster). It seems that efforts have begun to make it.
