Enabled to input Japanese in Linux environment (crostini) of Chromebook

I'm using a Pixelbook.
Since it is a US keyboard, you can switch between Japanese and half-width with Ctrl + Space, but even if you try it on a Linux terminal (crostini), it is neither un nor sun.
This was a problem, and when I looked it up, I had to put in fonts and terminals, and the procedure was complicated.
Is it something that can be activated more simply?

Just turn on the setting Use the OS default keyboard bindings / shortcuts.
To do this, first right-click the terminal icon on the shelf and click Settings.
Select Keyboard and Mouse from the menu on the left, and at the top there is an item called Use the default keyboard bindings / shortcuts of the OS, so turn it on.
