Linux runlevel summary.

init 0 ~ init 6 (init 4 free)

init 0

Shut down the system → System stop

init 1

Start in single user mode → Mode in which only root can log in Cannot access the network. Only on the corresponding machine.

init 2

Start up in multi-mode without network → Multiple users can log in to the multi-mode without network. Cannot access the network. Only on the corresponding machine.

init 3

Server running </ strong> Start up in normal multi-mode → In normal multi-mode, multiple users can log in via a network such as SSH. The graphic user interface cannot be started.

init 5

Client operation </ strong> It can be started with the graphic user interface.

init 6

System restart

Digression

I feel that the commands to remember are enormous. I will memorize while moving my hands. I want to be able to handle Linux smoothly.
