DL get-pip.py.
If you normally install 2.78c, let Python in Blender execute the DL get-pip.py as shown below.
/Applications/blender.app/Contents/Resources/2.78/python/bin/python3.5m ~/Downloads/get-pip.py
This will install the pip command in Blender.
/Applications/blender.app//Contents/Resources/2.78/python/bin/pip install pillow
