Try installing samba on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B

sudo apt-get install samba samba-common-bin
#Create samba directory
sudo mkdir /var/samba
#Creating a samba user
sudo useradd smbuser
sudo passwd smbuser
#Grant permissions to samba directory
sudo chown smbuser:smbuser /var/samba/
#Add samba user to database
sudo pdbedit -a smbuser
# smb.Editing conf
sudo cp -p /etc/samba/smb.conf /etc/samba/smb.conf.org
sudo vi /etc/samba/smb.conf

/etc/samba/smb.conf


[share]
   comment = Share Folder
   browseable = yes
   path = /var/samba
   writable = yes
   valid users = smbuser
   force user = smbuser
[pi]
   path = /home/pi
   read only = No
   guest ok = No
   force user = pi

After that, you can connect by restarting
