1.　r'[0-9]*' This is ... from the very beginning, it's 0 characters! If you are told that the number is 0 or more, it doesn't matter if there is nothing.

2.　r'[0-9]*?' ? It doesn't matter if there is a previous character or not, and it doesn't have to be 0 characters, so it's the same as 1., it's 0 characters from the beginning!

3.　r'[0-9]+' This means taking the chunks of numbers as long as possible! 1234 will be chosen!

4.　r'[0-9]+?' The difference from the previous one is that + may or may not be present, so it will be 1! With [0-9], one is already reserved, and you won't repeat + with the others!
