Until you install MySQL-python

Introduction

When creating and executing Ansible that creates a DB user, MySQL-python was not installed on the server, and I will summarize the process of trial and error until it was installed.

Premise

• CentOS7.3
• ansible 2.3.1.0
• pip 9.0.1 from /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages (python 2.7)
• mariadb101u-server-10.1.26-1.ius.centos7.x86_64

What you need to install MySQL-python

• pip
• python-devel --mariadb101u-devel (The part of mariadb differs depending on the installed DB.)
• gcc

MySQL-python installation instructions

1. Install pip

# curl -kL https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py | python

2. Install python-devel

# yum install python-devel

3. Install mariadb101u-devel

# yum install --enablerepo=ius install mariadb101u-devel

4. Install gcc

# yum install gcc

5. Install MySQL-python

# pip install MySQL-python
