Windows10 workspace-spring-tool-suite-4-4.5.1.RELEASE (English version as of February 17, 2020)

initial state

Pivotal tc server Developer Edition is missing in the Servers view of STS (Spring Tool Suite).

Build Pivotal tc server Developer Edition on STS and start the server.

Select Menu → Help → Eclipse Marketplace ...
The Eclipse Marketplace screen appears. Type "pivotal" in the Find: field of the Search tab and press Enter to display "Pivotal tc Server Integration for Eclise 3.9.11.RELEASE". Press the Install button at the bottom right. Wait for a while.
The Confirm Selected Features screen is displayed. Make sure that the required software is checked and press the Confirm button. (This time, Spring Dashboard will be installed at the same time.) Wait for a while.
The Review Licenses screen appears. I agree to the terms of use. Turn on "I accept the terms of the license agreements" and press the Finish button. Installation Software (xx%) is displayed at the bottom left, so wait for a while.
After installation, restart STS. Press the Restart Now button.
When you restart, the dashboard screen will be displayed automatically. If it is not displayed, you can display it by selecting Menu → Help → Dashboard.
Scroll down the Dashboard. Press the "IDE Extension" button in the box called Manage.

Check the Pivotal tc Server Developer Edition checkbox on the Spring Extensions screen. Scroll down the window to the bottom and press the Install button at the bottom right. (Be careful as it is in an unclear place)

Follow the instructions on the screen and press the Next button to proceed. The Review Licenses screen appears. I agree to the terms of use. Turn on "I accept the terms of the license agreements" and press the Finish button. Installation Software (xx%) is displayed at the bottom left, so wait for a while.
After installation, restart STS. Press the Restart Now button.
From the Servers view, click the "No servers are available. Click this link to" link.

　 12. The New Server screen is displayed. Select "Pivotal tc Server v4.0" and click the Next button.

The Pivotal tc Server screen appears. Specify the location of pivotal-tc-server-developer-4.0.4.RELEASE in the installation directory text box. Press the Next button (usually directly under the c: drive).

The tc Server Configuration screen appears. Make sure Ceate new instance is selected and press the Next button.

The Create tc Server Instance screen appears. Give the Name text box any descriptive name. For Templates, check base and press the Finish button.

You can see that the pivotal server is created in the Servers view. With the pivotal server selected, press the execute icon (green triangle button) to start the server.
